Starting During Treatment (Prevention)

Some patients choose to start Talika Lipocils and Liposourcils Expert at the very beginning of their chemotherapy cycle.

The Goal: To strengthen the hair follicle and keep the lashes in the 'growth phase' for as long as possible.To strengthen the 'anchoring' of the brow hairs. Because brow hairs have a different growth cycle than scalp hair, they often fall out later (sometimes 2–3 months into treatment). Starting using Talika early may help you retain more hair for a longer period.

Patient Feedback: Some users report that starting early helped them retain a 'scaffold' of lashes, so they never went completely bare, even if the lashes thinned.

Note on Sensitivity: Chemotherapy can make your skin and eyes much more sensitive. Talika is generally considered gentle, but you should always perform a patch test on a small area of skin first.

Starting After Treatment (Regrowth)

Many medical professionals suggest waiting until 2 to 4 weeks after your final treatment to start a growth serum.

The Goal: To jumpstart the follicles once the chemotherapy drugs have cleared your system.

Why wait? Chemotherapy targets rapidly dividing cells (like hair). Some experts believe using a growth stimulator while the chemo is actively attacking those same cells can be counter-productive or simply less effective.
