Talika Lipocils Expert is a unique treatment that doesn't just act on eyelash growth, but also on the lashes’ curve and natural pigmentation.

Containing the famous Talika Mythical Botanical Complex (witch hazel, apple, nettle, horse chestnut and St. John's wort), this natural formula encourages growth, strengthening and natural curling of lashes whilst silk proteins give the appearance of fuller and longer lashes from the very first use.

With the addition of Coleus forskohlii for the expert formula, lashes also become naturally darker due to stimulated melanin synthesis meaning many users no longer feel the need to wear mascara or false lashes.

Containing the famous Talika Mythical Botanical Complex (witch hazel, apple, nettle, horse chestnut and St. John's wort), which stimulates eyebrow growth. 

Talika Liposourcils Expert is also rich in the anti-aging Peptide Expert which improves the quality of the eyebrow bulbs to strengthen brows' hold and slow their fall, Coleus forskohlii, a natural pigmentation booster which stimulates the synthesis of melanin in the brows to intensify their natural pigmentation, and protective silk proteins, which sheathe the eyebrows.

Key Considerations for Chemo Patients:

• St. John’s Wort: Talika Lipocils and Liposourcils products contains St. John’s Wort. While it is applied topically (on the skin) and in small amounts, St. John’s Wort is known to interact with certain chemotherapy drugs if taken orally. Always check with your oncologist to ensure they are comfortable with you using a botanical complex containing this ingredient during your specific treatment.

• Infection Risk: If your white blood cell count is very low (neutropenia), your doctors may advise against applying anything to your lash line to avoid the risk of a minor eye infection.

Morning & night, as a 28-day treatment, repeated every three months.

• Apply Talika Lipocils Expert to the base of the lashes using the foam tip, then along the entire length of the lashes, from the roots to the ends.
• Apply Talika Liposoucils Expert to the eyebrows using the foam tip.

Starting During Treatment (Prevention)

Some patients choose to start Talika Lipocils and Liposourcils Expert at the very beginning of their chemotherapy cycle.

• The Goal: To strengthen the hair follicle and keep the lashes in the 'growth phase' for as long as possible.To strengthen the 'anchoring' of the brow hairs. Because brow hairs have a different growth cycle than scalp hair, they often fall out later (sometimes 2–3 months into treatment). Starting using Talika early may help you retain more hair for a longer period.

• Patient Feedback: Some users report that starting early helped them retain a 'scaffold' of lashes, so they never went completely bare, even if the lashes thinned.

• Note on Sensitivity: Chemotherapy can make your skin and eyes much more sensitive. Talika is generally considered gentle, but you should always perform a patch test on a small area of skin first.

Starting After Treatment (Regrowth)

Many medical professionals suggest waiting until 2 to 4 weeks after your final treatment to start a growth serum.

• The Goal: To jumpstart the follicles once the chemotherapy drugs have cleared your system.

• Why wait? Chemotherapy targets rapidly dividing cells (like hair). Some experts believe using a growth stimulator while the chemo is actively attacking those same cells can be counter-productive or simply less effective.

• Effectiveness: Serums are often more effective after treatment has finished, as they help the new lashes come in thicker and more quickly than they might on their own.

Talika is an innovative, French beauty company. In 1948, Danielle Roches, an ophthalmologic nurse in the Paris Hospitals, was treating burn victims from World War II. As Paris experienced a shortage of medicines, Danielle formulated a plant-based balm to treat injured people with burns to the eyes and she observed an unexpected side effect: in addition to healing her patients' burns, her herbal cream stimulated the growth of their eyelashes and eyebrows in a spectacular way.

There is a standard Talika Lipocils eyelash growth serum and a Talika Lipocils Expert eyelash growth serum. Confusingly there is only a Talika Liposourcils Expert eyebrow densifying serum as the standard Talika Liposourcils eyebrow growth gel has been discontinued.

All products contain the same Talika Mythical Plant Complex (witch hazel, apple, nettle, horse chestnut, St. John's wort) which stimulates the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows, but the Expert products also contain:

• Coleus forskohlii which stimulates the synthesis of melanin in the eyelash and eyebrow to intensify its natural pigmentation.

• Peptide Expert which has an anti-aging effect. It improves the quality of the eyebrow bulb to strengthen the anchoring of the eyebrow and slow down its sagging and it improves the quality of the ciliary bulb to strengthen the anchoring of the eyelash and slow down its fall.

• Silk proteins which coat the eyebrow and instantly sheath and curl the eyelash.

In short, the Talika Lipocils Expert and Liposourcils Expert contain a pigment enhancer which adds colour to your eyelashes or eyebrows. The Expert products are also more likely to help reduce eyelash or eyebrow loss if you're currently going through chemotherapy. The Expert products also have a foam tip which enables more precise application at the root of the lashes whereas the Talika Lipocils eyelash growth serum (non expert) just has a mascara type brush.
