Microwaveable Soothing Body Wrap
These soothing body wraps can be heated in a microwave and used to help relieve some of the discomfort from aching muscles and joint pain that radiotherapy treatment can cause. They can also provide your loved one with some comforting warmth or alternatively, they can be chilled and used as a cooling compress. The cover is made from 100% pure cotton which is gentle on the skin and filled with flaxseed fragranced with lavender essential oil. Pack size w12cm x h23cm d5cm. Product size L49cm w14cm.
Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream
Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream is often recommended by healthcare professionals for oncology skin care. It's a non-greasy, deeply moisturising cream which helps to prevent peeling and cracking of the skin. Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream contains 10% urea which is well-known for its hydrating, exfoliating and protecting properties. Fragrance free. Net weight 114g. Please note patients should speak to their radiotherapy team for approval of any products prior to use. Ingredients; Aqua, Urea, Stearic Acid, PED-2 Stearate, Propylene, Glycol, Isopropyl Mysristate, Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil, Paraffinum Liquidum, Triethanalomine, Allantoin, Methylbaraben, Propylparaben.
Bella Brighton Joint and Muscle Balm
Radiation therapy can sometimes cause joints and muscles to ache or feel stiff and uncomfortable. Bella Brighton Joint and Muscle Balm supports the body’s natural healing process to relieve aching joints and muscles. Comfrey root has been used for generations for soothing joints and it’s also rich in allantoin which has a regenerative and healing effect on irritated skin - another common side effect of radiotherapy. Gently rub into the skin several times a day as needed. Do not apply into open wounds, but gently rub around them. Pack size 50ml. Please note patients should speak to their radiotherapy team for approval of any products prior to use.
Vermints - Peppermint
Patients may feel nauseous during radiotherapy treatment. Mint is well known for easing nausea and we’ve specifically chosen Vermints because they have ditched all the gross, health-harming, chemically-modified stuff that you usually find in mints and made super tasty mints from nature and nature only. VerMints are USDA Organic, Gluten-Free, non-GMO, Nut-Free and Kosher. 40g tin.
Foam Stress Ball
Stress balls are great for relieving tension and pent-up frustration. The act of repeatedly squeezing a stress ball can help to release tension and relieve stress. The repeated pattern of grip and release helps to alleviate tension and stress and is an activity that you can do anywhere.
