I am a cancer patient and I use this balm on my finger nails. Chemotherapy affects the skin on my hands and feet (ruddy and peeling off). It also causes the cuticles to over grow and become very rigid. I put this balm on my fingertips (very generous amount) every evening and it works to moisturize the peeling and soften the cuticles so that they can be properly trimmed. This balm works very well for this unfortunate side effect of chemotherapy.

I started chemo 3 weeks ago and my lips were chapped beyond repair, I tried burts bees, aquaphore, and 4 other lip balms - everything I could imagine.. NOTHING WORKED until I got the lindi skin lip balm! I apply it twice a day and during the day can just use my burts bees... lips are finally back to normal! Also, I went to the dermatologist who said I had developed Rosacea and wanted me to put some heavy duty meds on it.. A Northwestern University Study concluded that Lindi Skin soothes skin irritated by cancer treatment and improves overall quality of life.
The study evaluated the quality of life (QoL) and tolerability of three Lindi Skin products specifically developed for cancer skin care management - Lindi Skin Body Moisturiser, Lindi Skin Face Moisturiser and Lindi Skin Face Wash.
Ninety-nine cancer patients receiving systemic anticancer therapies and/or radiotherapy at Northwestern University were assessed at the initial visit for adverse skin reactions. All patients were provided with the three Lindi Skin products and were instructed to use each product once daily for 4 weeks.
The results showed that dry skin, hand–foot skin reaction (HFSR), and skin rash (dermatitis) decreased significantly and most patients rated their overall experience with Lindi Skin products as good or very good (highest rating).
