Soothing Eye Mask
One of the most common side effects of radiotherapy is fatigue. The fatigue is likely to get worse as your loved one progresses through their treatment. This soothing gel beads eye mask is ideal for relieving tired eyes from radiotherapy induced fatigue as well as the general stresses and strains that cancer brings. Fitted with adjustable straps and with soft fabric on the reverse, the mask is designed with comfort in mind. For added benefit, the band is fragranced with lavender, sweet orange and geranium to help your loved one relax, unwind and feel the stress melt away. Size - 20cm (W) x 9cm (H). Himalayan Bath Salts - 75g
Himalayan Bath Salts have been used for centuries in beauty and wellness treatments for their soothing, moisturising and hydrating properties. This sachet of Himalayan Bath Salts is a blend of coarse and fine pink Himalayan Salts with no additional ingredients that could cause irritation to skin that may be sore or dry from radiotherapy treatment. A pampering treat to help your loved one take some time out from the stresses and strains of cancer treatment, whilst moisturising and hydrating dry skin. Single serving.
Oatsoak Colloidal Oatmeal - 100g
Colloidal oatmeal has been used for centuries as a treatment for itchy, dry or irritated skin and has been clinically proven as beneficial for radiotherapy skincare. This colloidal oatmeal can be added to warm bath water as a relaxing natural soak. It can help to relieve itchy, dry skin and can soothe dry and inflamed skin from radiotherapy treatment. Providing deep moisturisation, it is a natural skin cleanser and also helps to create a protective layer. Single serving.
Lemon Xylitol Mints (15g)
Patients may feel nauseous during radiotherapy treatment and mint is well known for easing nausea. We’ve specifically chosen Peppersmith Sicilian Lemon flavoured mints because they contain Xylitol. Sucking Xylitol mints can help to relieve a dry mouth that many people experience when undergoing radiotherapy treatment to the head or neck area.
