Lindi Radiotherapy Skincare Cooler Pad

The Lindi radiotherapy skincare cooler pad has been specifically created to help soothe radiation burns. The hydro-gel cooler pad provides on-the-spot cooling relief and moisturising effects thanks to aloe vera and green tea in its formula. Single Pad is 4" x 7" and can be re-used several times.

Comforting Shoulder Wrap

Fatigue and aching muscles are common side effects of radiotherapy treatment. This comforting microwaveable shoulder wrap is shaped to gently mould to the contours of the shoulders and help take away the stresses of the day. When warmed in the microwave, the wrap produces therapeutic heat to ease tension, aches and pains around the neck and shoulder area. For centuries, colloidal oatmeal has been used to treat a range of skin problems, including dry skin, itchiness, rashes, and eczema (atopic dermatitis).

Colloidal oatmeal is finely ground oats (Avena sativa) mixed into lotions, creams or bathwater. It's an emollient, which means it softens and soothes the skin.

This 2016 study was the first to recognise colloidal oatmeal as a skincare approach in the radiotherapy setting. The sudy recognises the potential benefits of colloidal oatmeal in treating radiotherapy induced skin reactions.
