The Lindi Skin Radiotherapy Cooler Pad has been specially designed to help soothe and relieve radiation burns and other types of compromised skin. The Cooler Pad provides on-the-spot cooling relief and moisturising effects thanks to aloe vera and green tea in its formula. This hydro-gel dressing soothes on contact and can be re-used over a dozen times. Lindi Oncology Skincare Soothing Balm - 120ml

Lindi Skincare is a speciality skincare range developed specifically for cancer patients. Lindi Soothing Balm is a rich, emollient, non-greasy lotion intended for extremely dry or compromised skin from radiotherapy treatment. Thanks to astaxanthin, avocado, olive oil and shea butter in its formula, Lindi Soothing Balm protects and moisturises dry, cracked, and flaking skin that can result from radiation as well as the dry, cracked and painful hands that can occur after chemotherapy. Pharmaceutical-grade ingredients and rare botanicals make this the perfect gentle lotion to tackle the driest skin. This 4 oz. bottle lasts most users approximately one month. Warming Shoulder Wrap

Fatigue is a common side effect of radiotherapy treatment. This comforting microwaveable shoulder wrap is shaped to gently mould to the contours of the shoulders and help take away the stresses of the day. When warmed in the microwave, the wrap produces therapeutic heat to ease tension, aches and pains around the neck and shoulder area. Can also be used to provide cold therapy by chilling in the freezer. The shoulder wrap contains approximately 1000g of wheat and is lavender scented but additional essential oils can be added when required. Shoulder Wrap is approx. 35cm x 1.5cm x 25cm.

 

Boswellia Joint Pain Balm - 100ml

Radiotherapy treatment can sometimes cause joints and muscles to ache or feel stiff and uncomfortable. Boswellia balm is a soothing natural cream specifically designed to target muscle and joint soreness. Based on wonderfully rich boswellia incense, this balm has been clinically proven to reduce joint swelling and pain as well as increasing suppleness. Simply smooth the wonderfully fragrant balm over painful areas to feel its pain-relieving effects. MooGoo Natural Milk Wash - 500ml

Skin can become sensitive and sore when undergoing radiotherapy treatment and it's advisable to use gentle products, suitable for sensitive skin. MooGoo Milk Wash combines small amounts of five different natural cleaners as this can be gentler on skin than one concentrated cleanser. MooGoo chose natural cleansers that wash well without drying out the skin. The foaming action isn’t quite as intense as it would be if they used a synthetic detergent like SLS (or other common culprits) but we’re happy to make this small trade-off to use more natural ingredients that are healthier for us and the environment. MooGoo also uses a mix of natural skin conditioning ingredients. No essential oils that can also trigger reactions are added, but instead, a blend of Vanilla with the allergy-triggering compounds removed. Because it’s so gentle it’s also a no-tears formulation. Suitable for all ages, body parts and skin types. Soy Wax Candle

A common side effect of radiotherapy is fatigue. This gorgeous hand poured, soy wax candle is the perfect way to encourage a loved one to take some time to rest and relax. The linen and driftwood (fresh, ocean, salt water, rich amber, soft driftwood, warm vanilla, florals, bergamot, neroli) scented candle is made in small batches using the highest grade 100% natural soy wax and the finest quality fragrance oils for a beautiful scent from the first to the last burn.
