Moisturised hair is less prone to breakage plus satin's smooth surface creates less friction for fragile hair strands which may have been damaged by chemotherapy, so helps prevent knots, tangles and breakage. Chemotherapy can cause hot flushes at night, so the naturally cool surface of satin will also help regulate temperature to aid a restful night's sleep.
