This versatile Mastectomy Pillow / Surgery Comfort Pillow is a great post-operative support pillow helping to relieve pressure to sensitive surgical areas.
The pillow provides comfort while supporting and protecting sensitive areas. Providing evenly distributed pressure to protect the incision site, it is pefect for holding on the chest or stomach while coughing, laughing or sneezing as well as providing protection from children/pets after surgery.
The pillow will also be helpful for sleeping especially in the early days of recovery, enabling you to find a more comfortable sleeping position. It can also help to protect the chest and abdomen from being squeezed by a seatbelt during car journeys.

The heart shaped design is made from super soft, faux velvet and comes with ribbon fastening to help secure the cushion in a comfortable position.

A mastectomy pillow is specially designed to provide comfort to anyone who have recently undergone breast surgery.

If auxiliary lymph nodes have been removed from under an arm, the healing wound will be tender. Having a neat little cushion that props your arm out away from your body so the arm is not resting on the surgery site removes unhelpful pressure.
Similarly, having a cosy and plump cushion to rest your arms on, whilst they’re still in a fairly natural position, help you rest your arms and muscles but takes pressure off the surgery area.
Driving in a car requires a seat belt to be in place – across the chest. The last thing we need after double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, or any other type of breast surgery, is a seatbelt directly across the chest! Here’s where a small pillow providing a cushioning buffer between your chest and the seat belt comes into its own.
Whilst a standard bed pillow or throw cushion can be used for propping you up in bed or on a chair or lounge, here’s an additional use for the post mastectomy pillow, if needed.
