Product Recommendations - Skincare

Chemotherapy treatments can damage nails, leaving them dry, weak and brittle. Below we list products that have been recommended by the Cancer Community to protect and care for nails.

As a busy chemotherapy nurse I'm always looking for a good handcream. This product is the best I've found for both performance and value for money. I've recommended it to my patients too.

I first used Udderly Smooth after chemo in 2012. It had been highly recommended by my Consultant. It was the best cream I could find for my skin and I too highly recommend its use for anyone who has undergone chemotherapy or just with dry skin. Try it...you will be amazed!

Excellent product. It was recommended by my cancer nurse as one of the side effects of chemotherapy is very dry sensitive skin. It absorbs really well and keeps my skin soft and well hydrated.

Chemotherapy causes hand & feet skin to peel. This is the best cream so far to offer relief.

I first heard of Udder Cream at the cancer clinic where my brother has his treatment and sent for a tub to see if it helps and it not only works wonders on his sore skin or chaffed skin but it is a marvelous moisturiser and i now use it for a hundred and one things like my husbands eczema, after sun and its the next best thing to Cleopatra's milk bath as it leaves the skin so soft and healthy. i sent a tub to my friend in Australia as the doctors there had tried everything including steroids and my friends skin is as soft as a babies now.

AMAZING! I have been struggling on chemo with cracked skin on feet and fingers. Really really painful and nothing was helping. Got talking in hospital to a lady on the same drugs and she had been recommended this. Sounded very odd but was desperate to try anything! This is fabulous. Really works. Not slimy/greasy and no aroma so doesn't clash with anything. My hands have cleared up totally now - amazing as literally every day they were bleeding! Well worth a try and have recommended it to loads of people!.

For those of you who are Cancer sufferers and undergoing Chemotherapy, this cream could be the answer to your dreams if you suffer with "Hand & Foot" syndrome as a side effect of the Chemo treatment.
I have used this cream for the last 4 cycles of my chemo treatment and it has completely eliminated the relentless itching and sore/tender parts of the hands and feet.

I am in contact with many patients on chem and this cream is exellent when there hands and feet become very dry and painful due to side effects of treatment. i thought give it a go for my very dry and craked winter fingers so now all my other handcreams have gone and just use this exellent value cream
