There was much excitement yesterday as CancerPal's founding director, Jo Riley was interviewed by Steve Ladner of BBC Radio Kent on why and how she set up CancerPal.

Steve Ladner is the partner of Tracey Crouch, MP for Chatham and Aylesford and former Minister for Sport, Civil Society and Loneliness. Tracey was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2020. She has had surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer and Steve is supporting her through this.

Jo was joined by Nick Brayley who is the partner of the awesome Tassia Haines. Tassia was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 when she was only 24 years old and earlier this year Tassia and Nick received the devastating news that the cancer had returned to the bones and is now Stage IV. Tassia is currently undergoing treatment for her secondary breast cancer.

You can listen to the radio interview here.

And you can find out more about the awesome Tass in her blog where she documents her treatment for both primary and secondary breast cancer, shares some brilliant chemo hacks as well as campaigning for a better awareness of secondary breast cancer.
