~Vermints - Peppermint~
Patients may feel nauseous during radiotherapy treatment. Mint is well known for easing nausea and we’ve specifically chosen Vermints because they have ditched all the gross, health-harming, chemically-modified stuff that you usually find in mints and made super tasty mints from nature and nature only. VerMints are USDA Organic, Gluten-Free, non-GMO, Nut-Free and Kosher. 40g tin.
~Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream~
Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream is often recommended by healthcare professionals for oncology skin care. It's a non-greasy, deeply moisturising cream which helps to prevent peeling and cracking of the skin. Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream contains 10% urea which is well-known for its hydrating, exfoliating and protecting properties. Fragrance free. Net weight 114g. Please note patients should speak to their radiotherapy team for approval of any products prior to use. Ingredients; Aqua, Urea, Stearic Acid, PED-2 Stearate, Propylene, Glycol, Isopropyl Mysristate, Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil, Paraffinum Liquidum, Triethanalomine, Allantoin, Methylbaraben, Propylparaben.
~Bella Brighton Joint and Muscle Balm~
Radiation therapy can sometimes cause joints and muscles to ache or feel stiff and uncomfortable. Bella Brighton Joint and Muscle Balm supports the body’s natural healing process to relieve aching joints and muscles. Comfrey root has been used for generations for soothing joints and it’s also rich in allantoin which has a regenerative and healing effect on irritated skin - another common side effect of radiotherapy. Gently rub into the skin several times a day as needed. Do not apply into open wounds, but gently rub around them. Pack size 50ml. Please note patients should speak to their radiotherapy team for approval of any products prior to use.
~Microwaveable Shoulder Wrap~
Radiotherapy treatment is tiring. This comforting microwaveable shoulder wrap is designed to gently mould to the contours of the shoulders and help take away the stresses of the day. When warmed in the microwave, the wrap produces a combination of therapeutic heat and relaxing lavender, mandarin and geranium fragrance to ease tension, aches and pains around the neck and shoulder area. Can also be used as a cooling compress. The wrap is 51 x 28cm with an ergonomic design for comfort and maximum coverage.
~Hand Poured Soy Wax Candle~
A common side effect of radiotherapy is fatigue. This gorgeous hand poured, soy wax candle from Lolly Rocket is the perfect way to encourage your loved one to take some time to rest and relax. The warm vanilla sugar scented candle is made in small batches using the highest grade 100% natural soy wax and the finest quality fragrance oils for a beautiful scent from the first to the last burn. The jar measures 8.5cm high x 6.5cm diameter and has a burn time of approximately 40 hours.
~Natural Unscented Handmade Soap Bar~
Skincare is so important when undergoing radiation treatment and it is recommended to wash skin with a mild, unperfumed soap. This fabulous bar of traditional cold-pressed soap handmade by Handmade Haven Soaps is as simple as it gets. Wonderfully gentle and moisturising, there is nothing extra added - no artificial colourings, scents or preservatives. The soap bar is approximately 100g and contains just Organic Coconut Oil, Lye and Organic Cocoa Butter – that’s it!
