May You Always Have Light - Soy Wax Candle

A hand poured, naturally scented, 100% soy wax candle featuring the words 'May You Always Have Light In The Darkest Of Times' on the label.


This gorgeous blueberry & vanilla pod scented candle makes such a lovely gift for a loved one having a hard time, especially with the inclusion of our mindfulness postcard. Handmade in the UK in small batches, using the highest grade 100% natural soy wax and the finest quality fragrance oils these candles give a beautiful scent from the first to the last burn.


The jar measures 8.5cm high x 6.5cm diameter and has a burn time of approximately 40 hours.

  • Blueberry & vanilla pod is a mouth watering fruity blend of fresh blueberries & strawberries sitting on a bed of creamy, sweet vanilla pods.


    Soy wax is made from soy beans which are an eco friendly, renewable, carbon neutral source, unlike paraffin wax which is made from crude oil. Soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin wax and does not release toxins, carcinogens or pollutants into the air.


    Because soy wax is natural, soy candles do not release petrol-carbon soot that can blacken walls. (If you do notice sooting around the top of your jar, it will be from the burning wick & is not harmful. It may mean that your wick is a little too long and needs manually trimming).


    Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn cooler, slower and longer than paraffin candles. Soy wax is naturally biodegradable making accidental spills easier to clean.


    Handy Tip:

    We have found that placing your candle on a lower surface (coffee table or side table height - but safely out of reach of children or pets) will help with scent throw - heat rises, as does the scent with it, so the lower your candle is, the more of the room it will fill with lovely fragrance.

  • Mindful Candle Watching:

    Candles can be used for a simple but effective mindfulness exercise to help reduce stress and anxiety. Light a candle and simply spend time watching the movement of the flame. As thoughts and feelings arise as they naturally will, just let them come and go, and gently bring your focus back to the candle and the flame.
