Biafine Emulsion 186g
The French chemist Wenmaekers developed the Biafine formula in 1971 for his daughter-in-law, who had incurred burn injuries. She was so impressed by the soothing effect of the emulsion that she decided to introduce the formula to hospital.
Biafine can be used to treat first-degree burns and non-infected skin wounds, and to protect sensitive or slightly irritated skin. Biafine can also be used to treat erythema caused by radiotherapy.
Always read the lable before use. Please consult with your radiotherapy team prior to use.
To treat erythema caused by radiotherapy: use as directed by your doctor. As a guide, apply two or three times a day at regular intervals. Massage gently into the skin.
