B-Line Lavender and Geranium Relaxing Body Wash

Lavender essential oil offers many benefits and there is scientific evidence to suggest that lavender is effective in mitigating cancer complications, in particular lavender inhalation aromatherapy and lavender aromatherapy massage can help reduce anxiety and pain, and improve sleep quality and vital signs in patients with cancer.

 

However, because lavendar has weak hormonal activities there is some concern over using it if you have cancer, especially using it orally or topically (applying to the skin).

 

The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre advises that you do not take Lavender Essential Oil if you have a hormone-sensitive cancer. In lab studies, lavender showed weak estrogenic and antiandrogenic activities, and it is unclear whether this would lead to any positive or negative effects with long-term oral or topical use.
